As the fourth largest city in Indonesia, Medan is one of the most diverse areas in the country. - Medan Great Mosque

- Graha Maria Annai Velangkanni

This mansion was formerly the residence of Tjong A Fie, a Hakka who has many plantations in this city, and is also the person behind making the belawan-belawan railroad. - Sri Mariamman Temple

- Maimun Palace
